Flank offers features to finely grain the permissions on your team and ensure you always know what is going on where.

Flank lets admins easily manage their team through a couple of key features.

• Invitation system

• Multi-level permissioning (Directories & Kits)

• Admin Run Requests from Non-admins (coming soon)

Invitation System

Once you have your initial services set up, it's time to get some teammates into your Flank org. Just head to the top right and click on Organization in the menu dropdown (https://www.flank.cloud/{ORG_NAME}/org).

Depending on the level of access you wish to provide the given user, choose to make them an admin or a runner.

Admins by default have access to every resource under an organization and can change permissions of other users in the org. Only make people you absolutely trust admins

Runner by default have NO access. So after sending them an invite, it is up to an admin to correctly permission them to the right resources. Some features below explain how to make this process easier.

Multi-Level Permissioning (Directories & Kits)

After inviting your teammates, the next step is to correctly permission resources to all of your org's runners. Directories are essentially folders where you can group up multiple kits to make it easier to share with a group of people. For example, it's pretty convenient to make a directory for all tasks involving a marketing team and then you just share one directory rather than doing everything one by one.
